I provide counselling and psychotherapy services, in person, online and on phone. I am the data controller.

- Information you provide when you make an enquiry or book a session.

- Notes from therapy sessions (kept securely and confidentially).

- Payment information (no card details are stored directly by me).



3. How I use your information

I use your information to:

- Respond to enquiries.

- Arrange and deliver counselling sessions.

- Keep accurate records in line with professional and legal requirements.



4. Confidentiality and sharing

What you share in therapy is treated with respect and confidentiality. Information will not be shared with others unless:

- You give consent.

- There is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

- We are required by law.



Limited, relevant details are discussed in clinical supervision, which is a professional requirement to ensure safe and effective practice. Supervision is itself a confidential process, and your identity will be protected as far as possible.



5. How I store your information

- Session notes are stored securely and separately from contact information.

- Electronic data is password-protected.

- Paper records (if any) are stored in a locked cabinet.

- Information is kept for 7 years in line with professional guidance and then securely destroyed.



6. Your rights

You have the right to:

- Request a copy of the information I hold about you.

- Ask for corrections to be made if information is inaccurate.

- Withdraw consent to processing (where applicable).

- Make a complaint to the ICO if you have concerns.
