About Me

About Me

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling.

In recent years, I have worked with GP-referred clients, supporting adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma and phobias. I also work within my local community supporting individuals living with an end-of-life diagnosis or dementia and train volunteers in this role.

Alongside my other work, I provide person-centred bereavement counselling through my voluntary work with Cruse Bereavement Support, supporting people through experiences of loss.

Before training as a therapist, I worked as a Learning Support teacher with children and young adults. This experience continues to inform my therapeutic work, particularly my emphasis on patience, understanding, and working at each person’s pace, as well as a sensitive and informed understanding of neurodiversity.

I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
